Today, our school had a 2 hr. delay due to bus vandalism. Meh.

I was really hoping that my school would have a snow day. But we didn't. I'm tired, hungry, cold, and bored. I hope we have a snow day soon.

I told you all I would live to blog again! Remember, you can always email me. I am blogging again. Blog blog blog. I have never gotten writer's block (or in this case, writer's blog) while blogging. I suppose that it's impossible to get writer's block while blogging, because a blog isn't necessarily a story. I guess all I can say is that right now, I'm really busy preparing for my bar mitzvah with my sister. My mom just got a Toyota Corolla LE. I love the 6-disc CD changer and the Radio Data System. It rides smoothly. My sister and I have dubbed it "Lady Zha Zha". that's all I'll say for now, So now, fair readers, I bid you adieu. But before I go, here's a great pick from www.engrish.com.

Vocabulary contest

Today my school held the first vocabulary bee. What we all did before this was all of the seventh graders took a preliminary Reader’s Digest vocabulary test. The five top scoring kids in each homeroom went to the second phase, which happened today. I am the representative for my homeroom because I was the last person from my homeroom that didn’t get two questions wrong that someone else from my homeroom also got wrong. So on Friday, the seventh grade homeroom representatives will compete. The winner will go on to take a test. If that person has one of the top 100 scores in PA, amongst the other winners from each school, they go on to the state competition. The winner from that gets an all-expenses-paid trip to DisneyWorld, where the national championship takes place, hosted by Al Roker. The 1st place prize is a 25,000 college scholarship. The 2nd and 3rd place prizes are lesser scholarships. For 4th place and onward, there are no material prizes, but there is either regional or school fame. I’ll write again on Friday if I win!
